Common Uses
Letybo Botulinum Toxin is effective for treating various dynamic wrinkles caused by facial expressions. The most common treatment areas include:
- Forehead lines: To soften horizontal lines caused by raising your eyebrows.
- Crow’s feet: To reduce wrinkles around the outer corners of the eyes that appear with smiling or squinting.
- Glabellar lines (frown lines): To smooth vertical lines between the eyebrows caused by frowning.
- Bunny lines: To smooth the lines on the nose that form when you scrunch your face.
- Perioral lines (smoker’s lines): To reduce fine lines around the lips.
- Neck bands: To treat platysmal bands in the neck area, which can become more prominent with age.
How It Works
Letybo contains purified botulinum toxin type A, a neurotoxin that works by blocking the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter responsible for muscle contraction. When injected into targeted muscles, Letybo temporarily prevents the muscles from contracting, leading to a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines caused by facial expressions.
Because the surrounding skin remains unaffected, the results appear natural and subtle, restoring a youthful appearance without the “frozen” look sometimes associated with less precise treatments.
